Scripture Memory Verse

"17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the last, 18and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades." ~ Revelation 1:17-18

Getting Ready for Graves

Tonight I have to stay up as late as I can to re-acclimate my body for the graveyard shift of 9:45pm to 6:15am. Here's how the night started after Katy went to bed (all times are approximate)

11:05pm - Katy asked me to find my bluetooth for her for tomorrow's big "handsfree" day.
11:07pm - I searched through both cars and finally found it under the Camry's driver's side seat getting a lot of use.
11:07:10pm - It was dead.
11:08pm - I found a Motorolla car charger, but didn't want to turn on the car for the dumb thing to charge.
11:45pm- I searched through the whole house to find our old Motorolla house chargers.
11:46pm - I realized in the search that I have about 4 boxes all containing a mixture of computer cables/old hardware, tv cables, old landline/cell phone cables and phones, misc. electrical cables
12:15am - I realized one of those boxes contained my old Nintendo 64.
12:16am - I recognized that I never play my old Xbox since Guitar Hero 3 came out for the Wii.
12:18am - I removed my Xbox and its games from the living room entertainment center and put it in with the box of TV cables.
1:00am - I reorganized those boxes condensing them down to two.
1:05am- While putting the boxes back in the closet I found a box containing all the Pez I ever collected (206 items with 12 of those being duplicates).
1:05:20am - I remembered that I wanted to sell all of them as a lot on eBay when we didn't have much money.
1:07am - I set up all the Pez on our dining room table.
1:10am - I used our new camera and tripod to take a picture of them all and then one picture of each quadrant since there were so many.
1:15am - I began searching online to see how much that many would go for and realized that I had some pretty old ones that were worth a bit of money, some $36.
1:30am - I realized I needed to research them all to get fair market share on eBay and ergo it would take too much time right now and be boring, concordantly placing the box of Pez back on the closet shelf where it will rest for another 6 years.
1:31am - I discovered I hadn't been charging said Bluetooth and began to charge and then sync it up with Katy's phone.
1:31:30am - I found out I didn't know how to sync said Bluetooth and researched it online.
1:45am - Nature called and I got distracted with loo reading.
2:15am - I uploaded the Pez shots to the computer and realized the phone was still not synced with said Bluetooth
2:20am - The phone got synced with said Bluetooth and Katy can now be a law abiding citizen.

Here are the shots I took of the collection. I know, I know. How old am I? 7? I stopped collecting right before Katy and I got married in January of '04, so I'm missing a lot from the collection, but she pointed out that my money could be put to better use serving the kingdom of God then collecting candy dispensers. I realized that even though it was a Sunday school answer, she was right...again.

Hey Rob,

So I quickly scanned your photo and saw that I have a few dispensers that you don't currently have in your "amazing" collection. If you're not too picky (I have primarily "girly" dispensers) my kids would gladly part with them in support of their beloved "Robby". :)

Just a thought from Nor Cal... :)
