Jesus on Idol

I feel like I was watching some kind of surreal dream in my head. My idol Jesus Christ on American Idol. Last week Dolly Parton sung about Him, and then commented on her own relationship with Him. This week, on the results show, the top 8 opened with "Shout to the Lord." The real song. Not a fake. Not money or other lords. Our Lord. On Idol. If you don't believe me, go to iTunes and just preview the song. Unreal. No idea why it happened, Katy thought it might be that the top 8 got to pick the song. I have no clue, but nonetheless, this doesn't happen very often on nationally syndicated television. Almost as cool as the ER episode I blogged about earlier. Pretty sweet.
