GUITAR HERO III!!!

While patiently waiting for my updated version of Turbo Tax to download, I've been killing time with my Wii. About a month ago Katy allowed, and by allowed I mean I left her in the car while I ran into Gamestop to "just see if they have Guitar Hero" and low and behold they did! Well I couldn't pass up the opportunity so I got my stinkin' mitts on it, handed over my check card, signed the paper, and walked out the door, Les Paul in hand. Let me tell you, on Easy mode, it's pretty stinking easy. Medium mode, that's my bread and butter. Hard mode, the song "One" and "Raining Blood" are just too fast for me, leaving me helpless to beat the level. Now, on to tonight. I'm about halfway through Expert and there is not much greater satisfaction in the gaming world than to get 5 stars on Expert mode on songs like "My Name is Jonas" by Weezer. Pretty freakin' sweet. I know, I know. Its no Xbox 360 and I agree. Which as a side note does leave me longing to play Rock Band. However, a wireless guitar is pretty sick. Good times. Its especially gratifying when yo see your mom and dad trying to play along to songs they remember and struggling, but continuing to retry the song to get past it and on to the next one. Again, good times. Good times.
