first big adrenaline rush

Tonight was pretty stinking sweet. We got a call of a request for assist from the SO (sheriff) and I got to drive with my butt on fire, lights and siren wailing en route. Also, I almost got in my first pursuit when this lady failed to yield and weaved back and forth thinking we were an ambulance. Crazy, crazy, crazy. How they give out DL's to some people I have no idea, but by God's grace I barely got mine (76, needed a 70). Anyway, the Lord continues to keep me safe and sound by His mercy alone. Again, sorry about the lack of details, call for more info. The picture below is from our cadet party of me and Katy. Remember that jaw line...it may be the last time you see it on me. I hope not, but let's be rational.
